It is done. Tags are now a part of Swedish Pixels and hopefully they will prove to be a handy way of navigating through the contents of this site.
I’ve been most unhappy with the way the archive was organized for quite some time now. I originally designed it to make it possible to browse through old pictures by date, category or collection and I also added a handy (or so I thought) text search function. During the past months Ive come to realize that probably no one ever uses all these extra utilities and that all they did was to burden the site with unnecessary clutter. I’ve now trimmed it all down to merely browsing through the thumbnails in chronological order, or viewing images associated with a particular tag. Let me know if you miss the old stuff.
Update: I’ve noticed it’s impossible to leave comments at the moment; apparently I’ve somehow deleted the comment page from the server by mistake. I have to stop doing this… Bear with me. I’ll fix it as soon as I get home from work.
