Weve had a rough couple of afternoons, where Baby Alice got more and more tired but refused to fall asleep all the same. Instead she turned furious and demanded nursing for comfort. Today we experimented with music and found that ol Blue Eyes seems to have a soothing effect on our first born daughter. Sorry dad; it seems like you have a Sinatra-fan for a grandchild after all. Better luck next time.
Today is Midsummers Eve. Well be celebrating with fresh potatoes boiled with dill, pickled herrings and strawberries with sugar and cream. Nice.
