Todays payday and as always its not a second to soon. Im currently in the market for some nice summer footwear, but Im not really sure what I want. Last year I bought a nice pair of Marco Polo leather flip-flop sandals on sale in Copenhagen, but they dont quite fit. Apparently my feet arent wide enough, which means I have to contract my toes to prevent the sandals from falling of. Naturally its quite exhausting walking this way.
Yesterday I tried shrinking the leather straps in boiling water (!), but that only made them stiffer not shorter. Perhaps a skilled shoemaker could fix them for me?
