About this site

This is Swedish Pixels, the personal photoblog of Joakim Hertze. I'm a twentysomething medical doctor living in Malmö, Sweden with the woman of my dreams, a beautiful daughter and two friendly cats. I'm currently on parental leave for the better part of the summer, but otherwise I'm training to become a psychiatrist—not a psychologist, mind you.

Equipment. Some of the earlier photographs were captured with my resilient Olympus C-300, but mainly I use a Nikon D70, together with a small selection of lenses. Images are post processed with Adobe Photoshop, on a PC or an Apple iBook G4.

Contact me. Are you for some reason offended by a photograph? Let me know and I will most certainly do something about it.

Cookies. According to Swedish law I must inform about cookies and its usage on these pages. Cookies are small text files, stored locally on the visiting computer, generally used to create a “memory trace” of past actions on a web site. Swedish Pixels only uses cookies on the comment pages to remember your name, email and URL. If you find this unacceptable it can be prevented by keeping the box marked “remember me” unchecked.

Feeds. This blog is available as a RSS-feed and an ATOM-feed, for those of you who find that sort of thing useful.

Now, take me back to the previous page, or bring me to the front page instead.
