Tomtarna i Zurich

Jag såg en Google Adsense annons som gjorde reklam för en bloggersajt med namnet The Gnomes of Zurich. Här drar signaturen ”The Banker” paralleller mellan poker och livet i stort och resultatet blir underhållande och en smula tänkvärt:

In poker on any given day the poker gods decide who will win and who will lose. But in the long run the guy who always makes the right decision will end up with all the chips. He will lose less when he is beaten and win more when he wins.
It is the same in life. Today lady luck might smile at someone else, but plod along and make the right long term decisions. Eventually lady luck will come around and smile at you too. Patience is the key to winning at poker and it is the key to a happy life too.
